Solln, together with Thalkirchen, Forstenried, Fürstenried and Obersendling, is part of district 19 of the Bavarian city of Munich. Approximately 96,000 people live in the entire district. Parkstadt Solln is the southernmost district of the state capital Munich. The former villa suburb became part of the city of Munich in 1938 and many of the magnificent buildings have been preserved to the present day, illustrating the high quality of life in the district. For leisure activities, the Warnberger Weiher is recommended, which is a less frequented lake and insider tip.
