Lage

Today, Oberhaching is considered one of the wealthiest and most desirable municipalities in the southern part of the Munich district, offering excellent infrastructure. A major turning point in its development was the construction of the railway, which brought new momentum to the once-rural village. The railway line has existed since 1856. The supply station for the workers building the railway is now the Kugler Alm, a beer garden that is said to be the birthplace of the Radler (a mix of beer and lemonade).
